- Travellers who submit enquiries through listing pages
- Hosts who apply to list a property or manage an existing listing
- Guests who submit reviews through our review form
- Anyone who contacts us by email or through a contact form

What information we collect.
Information you provide directly
When you use our forms and features, we may collect:
- Your name or initials
- Your email address
- Property details (hosts)
- Health-related information you choose to share, such as fragrance sensitivity, multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), or other chemical intolerances
- A description of your stay experience (review submissions)
- How you found Low Tox Stays
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, lowtoxstays.com may collect basic technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is collected via standard WordPress and hosting infrastructure (Bluehost) and is used only for site security and performance monitoring. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking.

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- To respond to traveller enquiries and connect travellers with hosts
- To process and assess host applications
- To moderate and publish guest reviews
- To send follow-up emails relating to a specific stay or enquiry (for example, a review invitation)
- To communicate with hosts about their listing
- To comply with our legal obligations
We do not use your information for advertising purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

Third-party services we use.
Low Tox Stays uses the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Formspree — processes all form submissions including traveller enquiries, host applications, review submissions, and stay notifications. Privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy
- WordPress and Bluehost — our website is hosted on Bluehost. Host accounts and listing content are stored on Bluehost servers in accordance with their data policies
- Zapier (planned) — may be used to automate follow-up emails to travellers after an enquiry, using only the email address from your original submission
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any tracking tools.
Section 5
Data retention.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. If you would like your information deleted, contact us at info@lowtoxstays.com and we will action your request promptly.

Your rights.
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Complain about how we handle your information

Lowtoxstays.com uses only functional cookies necessary for the website to operate — for example, WordPress session cookies for logged-in hosts. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
